Orchid is the first purebred homebred since 2017 to be retained, making her an exciting doeling!

Bottle-raised, she is very attached to her 'mom' Ava and while she's not a baby anymore, she still thinks she can crawl up into your lap or snuggle with you.

She's also difficult to take pictures of due to her always being in motion.  The joke around the farm is that the only good photos of her are the ones you don't want her in.

As our first retained daughter from Revan, we were so anxious to see her freshen, and her udder has not disappointed so far.  The...attached attitude hasn't changed, and only seems to have passed it on to her daughter that is being retained.  Let the legacy continue?
